I am a Colorado native from the rural farmlands of Southeastern Colorado and the town of Eads. I am incredibly proud of my small-town roots which are at the core of all of my values and beliefs. Growing up in such a tight knit community, with such amazing people instilled in me a kind and helpful heart. It taught me the respect and responsibility I carry with me to help people at every opportunity, and to do so with a smile. I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, studying Wildlife Biology before a study abroad program in New Zealand presented a fork in the road. Upon returning from New Zealand, I changed course and ultimately graduated with a degree in Ecotourism. I spent the first 22 years of my adult career in the tourism industry nurturing my own wanderlust, traveling to over 40 countries, absorbing a deep firsthand knowledge of Asia and beyond, and curating once in a lifetime private, custom journeys for my clients. In 2020 a family health crisis compelled me to become conscientiously involved with the complicated workings of health insurance and our healthcare system. I quickly realized how challenging and frustrating it can be to navigate the system and how little help was available for people. It became clear how difficult it was to find somebody that truly cared, was willing to help and had your best interest in mind. I felt a sense of responsibility to take action and to help make a difference, and my new calling was revealed. I secured my insurance license and now help people in my community navigate the confusing world of Medicare. Having worked with thousands of clients over my adult career, I have brought my passion, upbeat and friendly go-getter attitude, knowledge, and years of customer service experience to each and every one I’ve helped. I moved into this amazing industry because I have an innate desire to help people in my community and to make a difference in their lives. Because I feel that I can make a difference. Our health is our most precious asset, and it’s more important than ever to be certain you have the best possible health coverage for your individual circumstances.
