My name is Elayne Cotton, a Texas girl living in a Colorado world! I was raised in Dallas though once I left the big city, I came to love small town living. I discovered my love for teaching when I tutored at a college math lab helping others to understand the process of formulas and equations, while I was earning a Mathematics degree. Finally settling in Colorado, my 15 years at the local steel mill allowed me to work with a diverse group of cultures comprised of management and union employees. I joined the American Legion Auxiliary {to honor dad and mom who both served during World War II} because of the work they do for the veterans in our community. Health and Nutrition is also a personal interest of mine, which led me to own two unique direct sales businesses. Daily self-care, exercise (like golf) as well as our mental health are so important to maintain as we age. Becoming a licensed Medicare agent came from an inspiration to teach something new.
